This course will teach technical writing. In short, how to write a paper or a thesis. Included are figure design, writing captions, Introduction, Results and Discussion, and understanding the difference between these.
The course will also teach the whole process of journal submission.
The basic technical knowledge of writing, such as active/passive voice, will be taught.Abstract, Conclusion, Cover letter and other components of paper submission.

Weekly schedule can be found in the attached files. The course has 8 weeks of on-board teaching, and the rest 8 weeks will be one-on-one teaching to develop the project document (thesis/paper) with your own data. This can be the first draft of your thesis/paper which can be, later, elaborated or added on to make a complete document.
A simple book will be provided to understand the style of technical writing. the course slides will be available. Plotting softwares such as Origin, Excel, Matlab, or others, and Image softwares such as Photoshop/ImageJ/others will be required. The course will involve writing excercises.
