\r\n\t- Please be sure to understand the required/elective courses of your majors (undergraduate student) or the required course regulations of your programs (graduate students). For the latest course registration announcements and instructions, please refer to the Division of Curriculum’s website.
\r\n\t- Course registration system route:
\r\n\tportal > National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University> Online Course Registration System. (If you are unable to log into the system, please switch to Incognito window) \r\n\t- Please fill in the “Questionnaire on Response to Teaching” before stage 1 of course selection.\r\n\t
\r\n\t\t- Questionnaire survey period for spring semester, 2023：Apr/24 ~ June/18.
\r\n\t\t- After completing the questionnaire, please reload the website then click on “Add and Drop Course” > “Adding of Course”.
\r\n\t
\r\n\t \r\n\t- Before the official course selection period begins, click on “Emulator” icon to plan course schedule (please note that this does not mean you complete the course registration). During the course selection period, you must add the courses to the “register list” then check the course selection result.\r\n\t
\r\n\t\t- Emulator is for planning only, there will be no schedule conflict/restriction check.
\r\n\t\t- During the course selection period, you must add courses to the “register list”. You may not be able to register a course if it conflicts with another course. If you see “Permission denied”, it means you are currently not eligible for the course registration. Please contact the Dept. of course offering for further information of assistance.

\r\n\tStage 1 of course selection (current students): June/05 12:00 PM ~ June/08 10:00 AM\r\n\t\r\n\t\t- Accessible hours of the course registration system are 24 hours every day during the course selection period.
\r\n\t\t- The system will be closed on June/8 10:00 AM. (students will be assigned according to computer-randomized numbers within a class quota)

\r\n\tStage 2 of course selection (current students): June/12 12:00 PM ~June/15 10:00 AM\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\t- Accessible hours of the course registration system are 24 hours every day during the course selection period.
\r\n\t\t- The system will be closed on June/15 10:00 AM. (students will be assigned according to computer-randomized numbers within a class quota)
\r\n\t
\r\n\tStage 3 of course selection: Sept/04 12:00 PM ~Sept/07 10:00 AM\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\t- Accessible hours of the course registration system are 24 hours every day during the course selection period.
\r\n\t\t- The system will be closed on Sept/07 10:00 AM. (students will be assigned according to computer-randomized numbers within a class quota)

\r\n\tAdd and drop course after classes begin：Sept/11 12:00 PM- Sept/22 10:00 AM (Deadline：Sept/22 10:00AM)\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\t- Accessible hours of the course registration system are from 12:00 PM every day to 10:00 AM next day.
\r\n\t\t- The system will be closed from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM every day (students will be assigned according to computer-randomized numbers within a class quota)

\r\n\t \r\n\t- Graduate students please refer to the required course regulations of your programs and make sure you register the core courses as required.
\r\n\t- Common Required Courses：Please pay attention to the class location of common required courses in college and common required courses for undergraduate.

\r\n\t\t- ” Permission denied” which means that you do not have the priority of this class. If you want to know more details, please contact the Dept. of course offering for further information of assistance.
\r\n\t\t- Students will be assigned according to computer-randomized numbers within a class quota. The most common situations of not distributed are as below:\r\n\t\t
\r\n\t\t\t- Course schedule conflict.
\r\n\t\t\t- The course is full.
\r\n\t\t\t- Course distribution limit. (EX: General education course/Core course).
\r\n\t\t
\r\n\t\tIt is recommended that students fill up their volunteers when they choose common courses. After the selection, they could adjust courses after the beginning of the semester \r\n\t
\r\n\t \r\n\t- Reminder：abuse of campus network system and resources is prohibited. Violators will face punishment according to the university regulations

\r\nDue to the interconnected nature of our work, if you need to drop a course, please complete the process before 5:00 PM on May 12th (Wednesday). (If you have any questions, please contact and report to the academic affairs office within the deadline, and we will not accept any applications after the deadline.)

\r\n\t- On your transcript, this course will be marked with a “W,” and it will not be graded or affect your GPA.
\r\n\t- The limits on “Number of courses dropped” and “Minimum credits required per semester” have been lifted. Students should consider their own graduation credit requirements when handling course drops.
\r\n\t- For inter-university elective courses, please complete the process before the earliest deadline for both universities, and please obtain signature from the academic affairs office of the other university (the deadline for Tsinghua University is 9:00 AM on May 9th).

\r\nPlease obtain both the instructor’s and department chair’s approval then hand in the application form to the Division of Curriculum by the deadline: May 12th, 2023. A withdrawn course will appear on your transcript with a grade of “W”.
