Introduction
The Division of Curriculum is responsible for the issues related to the curriculums of the undergraduate programs, master programs (including in-service master programs), PhD programs, and other degree programs.

 
Curriculum
Courses are calculated by credits. One hour of extracurricular courses each week is one credit per semester; Two to three hours of practical training or experiment courses each week is on credit per semester.
Students of the bachelor’s program shall complete no less than 15 credits per semester in principle. Notwithstanding, students of the department requiring the study period for four years shall complete no less than 9 credits per semester in the fourth school year, and in the fifth school year in the case of students of the department requiring the study period for more than six years.
Students who take courses planned to be taught across two semesters (inclusive) or more, which are required to be taken in order in each semester, are not allowed to reverse the order in which the courses shall be taken, unless with the approval of the college (department, institute, continuing
education program and degree program) and the course instructor; if the student receives a failing grade in the previous semester, they may be allowed to continue taking the subject in the next semester upon approval of the college (department, institute, continuing education program and degree program) and the course instructor.
The sequential courses referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be defined and announced by each college (department, institute, continuing education program and degree program).
