To obtain a course drop form, please contact the academic affairs office or visit the academic affairs office website → various application forms.
Due to the interconnected nature of our work, if you need to drop a course, please complete the process before 5:00 PM on May 12th (Wednesday). (If you have any questions, please contact and report to the academic affairs office within the deadline, and we will not accept any applications after the deadline.)

Frequently Asked Questions:
- On your transcript, this course will be marked with a “W,” and it will not be graded or affect your GPA.
- The limits on “Number of courses dropped” and “Minimum credits required per semester” have been lifted. Students should consider their own graduation credit requirements when handling course drops.
- For inter-university elective courses, please complete the process before the earliest deadline for both universities, and please obtain signature from the academic affairs office of the other university (the deadline for Tsinghua University is 9:00 AM on May 9th).

Please obtain both the instructor’s and department chair’s approval then hand in the application form to the Division of Curriculum by the deadline: May 12th, 2023. A withdrawn course will appear on your transcript with a grade of “W”.
